Watching Orban again, I’d love to see him try to do some build up or hold up play but he’s basically Jermain Defoe.

Just fluffed a 2v2 by just kicking it right and going for goal from an ill advised angle. He’s basic and raw. I don’t think he helps our build up whatsoever.

You were pretty worried about VDV as well (me too) but he's looked a lot less raw than he could have with one season in the Bayern Munich League.

I think they are signing a player they expect to be a bit raw. They aren't looking at a CF that's expecting to come in a take a starting spot before kicking a ball.

Clubs our size are big enough to absorb costly mistakes. We have to be and 2 games for Udogie and Sarr, (a few more are), hardly proof in my book of money well spent... yet.

Sorry, but waiting for a striker would be criminal.. On this area of the pitch, we wait and it will cost us dearly, even if getting a striker carries no guarantees.

At least the club can then say but we were unlucky. Right now it would be you deserve the sh!t you have left yourselves in..
I’m all for bashing the club but having the hopeless 60M Richy paired with some other 90M panic buy failure for the next five years terrifies ne

I think its a good model to be buying a potential player and then sending them back out on Loan , regular Game time will help with their development - the trouble is we cant take that risk for a Kane replacement - we need a proven goal scorer to come in and rotate with Richie.
I don't think Orban who we have been strongly linked with fits the bill as a proven goal scorer.

Sounds like a Dier situation. Just because a manager says “he’s in my plans” in a press conference, it doesn’t mean he actually wants to keep the player.

Reminds me of this:

Mauricio Pochettino insists the Tottenham careers of Emmanuel Adebayor, Younes Kaboul and Etienne Capoue are not over despite the trio not being involved since January.

Gio is made of paper and has a very poor output of goals and assists. I doubt Ange will be keen to keep him.

It's obviously bullshit.

Well it’s true that he hasn’t given him a single minute. What kind of player would be happy with not playing? If Ange wanted to use him, he’d use him. Skipp and Hojbjerg have got minutes and he hasn’t had one.
