It’s definitely an odd one considering their FFP troubles - unless they know they’re about to sell their starting RW for a big fee. Read between the lines.

He's fallen quite a way given that he has England caps and Bayern were making huge bids for him.

I'm not sure about that. He wants to go abroad or he wants to go and be a starter in the PL. I suspect if he cant go to Monaco and the choice is staying at Fulham or coming to us, then he will possibly chose to come to us.

Not that I am desperate to sign him, but I am desperate to not see Sanchez or Dier pull the shirt on for us again.
