Only a moron wouldn’t buy GK, CB or midfielder after last season. But that’s still not good enough, that would be good enough maybe if Kane stayed. But if you sel your best player and don’t bring in anyone after that, that’s total incompetence.

Menace dribbling the ball at people and will create chances for himself and others from Day 1.

Movement and reading of where the ball is going is mich further ahead than it should be after such small amount of decent-level football.

Put that together with his ability to fucking lamp the ball from any angle, there is a serious talent there. Not going to score 20 goals in the next 2 seasons

Brennan Johnson just ain’t a superstar mate.

Profile is important (and he has everything an Ange winger profile needs) but to get to the top we need a Bale, Hazard, Mané, Salah, Leao, Son, or even a rung below them - Saka, Sterling

I love his profile for the system, I actually do (I don’t love his application, he’s soft, spends so much time on the ground, doesn’t seem to have the obsessive gene where he needs the ball and demands it to make something happen)

But his ceiling isn’t as high as I wish it would be. An agonizing transfer bc Kulusevski is pissing me off every match these days and I desperately do want another RW option. But I’m not sure if he’s quite good enough.

Possibly, I wouldn’t though. I never blamed Levy for Ndombele, he was the literal definition of a ‘’one season wonder’’, one of the best midfielders in Europe for one season for both Lyon and France, then he got a contract with us and decided to retire.

Levy backed his manager in that case but maybe we didn’t scout his behaviours well enough. I won’t blame Levy or the board for good intentions and I hope the Ndombele situation doesn’t cloud our judgement in the future.

Brennan Johnson to me just seems like a scouting job and a player Ange might like, I don’t see us going £50m otherwise.

is this post genuine?

You asking what movement is better shows you haven't actually seen him play much. Johnson regularly gets himself into excellent goalscoring positions. His movement is so good that he is trusted to play up top as a lone striker and also just behind the striker.

Gil on the other hand rarely gets himself into decent positions to do damage. He looks like little boy lost positionally.

Also comparing johnson to Gil physically is absolutely laughable.


The only thing Gil is superior on is technical ability but i mean Lo Celso is also meant to be technically good but doesn't stop him going missing 9 times out of 10.
