So looks like some positive news coming in. If last night taught us one thing is our 2nd 11 are not scaring anybody.

It's obvious right now who our first 11 are, but injuries to any of those leave us massively exposed.

Johnson I would expect would eventually replace Kulu on the right as Solomon is not reliable enough. Equally that allows Kulu to move into a central role if needed.

Son does not have the pace anymore to play out wide, Perisic does not have 90mins in an Ange team playing out on the left either now, so makes sense someone like Fati coming in to bolster that area, again freeing up Son to play down the middle.

All this points to Richarlison not being the long term future, i fully expect to see Richarlison on the bench for some games with Son down the middle, even potentially Dane starting ahead of him.

What im interested to see is what happens with Veliz, is he currently injured? I've not seen him training or with the younger squads, I have a suspicion that we will see him on the bench towards the second half of the season with a view to getting him minutes as much as possible.

He's likely Kane and Richarlisons successor, something about this purchsse is nagging in my mind that he's likely to be very good, as the younger forwards we have are all decent quality, so what made this Veliz an essential purchase? Especially if rumors of bigger clubs trying to persuade him to join them while enrroute to the UK were true?

There's alot of silence around him currently, and I'm intrigued as to why
They sure scare the living daylights out of every Spurs supporter!

Agree, he must be happy with getting 20 minutes, he will never get more in a team that plays CL.

On the other hand I understand that he'll be happy with 20 minutes, it's all he can handle.

Obviously he wants to add a CL winners medal to his Serie A one

Geezer knows what he is doing

On his way to banking almost 60 mill in wages from his 6 year Spurs contract, one league winners medal in his back pocket already, and he has barely had to break into a sweat

Tottenham have made an offer for Real Madrid forward Rodrygo with Daniel Levy leading the charge for the Brazilian’s signature, according to reports.

Can it be true?
Of course it can, but that doesn't make it one nanometer closer to happening

No he didn't..... Stop talking bollocks....

He didn't play well but it a game where:

- We lost a pen shoot out
- We conceded an own goal
- .......An own goal which was in turn facilitated by some poor near post defending.
- The manager shit the bed
- ....And everyone under-performed.

Singling PEH out for the blame is fucking ignorant(*)......

(*Hang on; why am I suprised? .....It's YOU. )
You are citing moments. His all round play and style means we never control a game, never break lines. He’s a debilitative football strangler

Oh hell yeah, this would be a great signing for Chelsea.

They're just so much more ambitious than us it hurts.

You can see why Pochettino went there. Sort term it's a bit of a mess but if he can get them back into the CL, that would be a good season and could lead to even better tings next year.

We're relying on Ange being a miracle worker, doesn't seem fair to me.

I was hoping we'd make a late move for Palmer but seems he's off to the Chavs.

We would be as ambitious as Chelsea if we had unlimited economical resources like they do!

You know that's cheating right?

For sure it would be great to get a talent like Fati in. But on a one-year loan only? Ange is trying to build a playing philosophy here, so you would think he would want players that will be around in years 2 and beyond. I don't see how getting Fati in for one year aligns with that, unless we there's a purchase option included.
Has had a bad injury, so good idea to see how he goes. Apparently Levy has made a huge offer to Real for Rodrygo.
