Tottenham have made an offer for Real Madrid forward Rodrygo with Daniel Levy leading the charge for the Brazilian’s signature, according to reports.

Can it be true?

My take is let's wait and see eh?

City sure have better players but for 2 seasons they sustained goal scoring with their MF as top scorers pre Haaland.

There is no player available to us in world football who would be a direct, like for like, proven ready-made replacement for Kane and throwing a strop (not you) because we didn't have one lined up is beyond ridiculous.

I don't think any team can replace a player like for like.
City bought Haaland after failing to sign Kane, who would have replaced Aguerro. The 3 are different in so many ways.
It doesn't mean you can't sign a high quality player to do the job. We have a front 3 who can barely score a goal (even threatening to) between them. That's a concern.

What a shitshow this window has been.

Sell our best player. Need about 3 CBs and sign just 1.

Scrambling around for a last minute forward to pep up our limp attack. Loan deals for injury-prone kids who dont want to come here.

All of our deadwood still here.

Fati on loan keeping our powder dry for next summer when we understand the squad better, have a less problematic deadwood situation and hopefully have European football making us more appealing seems like the stronger play here.
I don't agree. We have the money to spend now, we have positions we really need to strengthen, and I don't think we really have issues appealing to our targets.
