I can't say I watch Bournemouth at all and did t notice him at all against us. Saying that, 20m is a fucking lot for any Bournemouth player not named Alex Scott.

CB is a fucking vital position which we need to improve. If Dier is refusing to leave then take the hit and banish him for the season if that's what it comes to. We absolutely can't go half the season with BOTH Dier and Sanchez as the back ups.

Starters will keep changing when they play good or bad. Next season PEH and Skipp could be a starter again if Bissouma or Sarr start playing bad. That means we arent standing still? They were already part of the squad. We've made 3 real additions to the team Vic, Maddison and VDV and some fluff that wont play much. We've sold our striker for tons and not signed another one yet.
 
If anything, Lloyd Kelly would be more of a replacement for Davies, as he can play CB or LB (apparently!)
Basically, if Sanchez or Reguilón go, and Kelly comes in, we've got 2 players in him and Davies who COULD be used for 2 different positions....

I think versatility is Ange's 'thing' which is why I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Dier ended up staying...

For all his limitations, he does offer cover in 2 positions.... Not great cover, granted, but in terms of 'bodies' he fulfils a role.
 
All I will say about Lloyd Christmas or whatever his name is - he has none of the Spursy baggage.
I think all of us can agree, there's a lot of players at Spurs that have been here for too long, let us down too often and been part of a collective that has bred a team of let downs.
