Be Hilarious if they sell him

premier league mo salah GIF by Liverpool FC

In what world do you reject £200mil. He's 31.

The only people laughing are FSG, all the way to the bank.

Sorry to be pedantic, but I hate that expression, it's so far from what is actually meant, and often causes confusion for idiots on this forum... Presumably you mean we will pay him the rest of his contract now, and 'let him go'. His contract won't have been cancelled, just paid up. (No offence intended btw, just my autism-driven pedantry kicking in after a few drinks I think. 😂 ).
It's been driving me fucking bananas all window people saying this.
And also thinking we'd be keen to pay players 1-2 years wages to walk out the door and sign for a rival. Be better to keep them in the dark if we're paying them either way.

Lloris is different, he's earned it. Ndombele, Dier and GLC can all rot IMO.

yes, clearly paid up and allowed to leave. Does very little keeping him around and it's a little golden handshake for his service. They may however come to some mutually acceptable agreement whereby we pay 50% and then allow him to find another club, as this will enable him to get a signing-on bonus.

Either way I think his contract will be done when the window closes

that was exactly my point. Lloris is likely viewed slightly differently.

The reports were Spurs rejected the loan offer.

You don’t like it. I didn’t make it up.
They may well have done if the loan fee was too low or they weren’t covering enough of his salary.

The point from my original post is that Eric Dier wasn’t going to accept it anyway. He’s turned down loan deals at better clubs in more favorable locations.
That might be why Burnley didn’t counter and there’s been no more negotiation.

I am happy to bet that Tosin isn’t going to beg to come to us with Eric Dier going the other way. Up for it?

Turkish move still an option for Ndombele

Galatasaray remains an option for Tottenham's Tanguy Ndombele.
However, it is not time sensitive today because the Turkish transfer window remains open until September 15.
He wants to pay for a Champions League club. He played for Napoli last year and is a Serie A title winner.
A potential switch to Inter Milan looks off with the club perusing other deals.

We play football now. players have to run around and maintain a high intensity. Even the younger fitter ones will struggle to maintain it for 90 minutes even if it's once a week. Ange will, unlike the last 2, make changes every match.
messing about with the first 11 would be a huge mistake imo. especially the two lines that look absolutely solid. theres going to be like 20% less games this year, its a fucking short season. you want your best players in the zone, you get that from match time, not dropping them in and out of the team and disrupting rhythm.

how many changes did chelsea make to their first 11 the year they won it when they only had domestic football?

gallagher is not on sarr and bissoumas level anyway, hes a fucking little dog.

Did you think Big ange site round the table negioating for new players then? :levylol:
Its always been the way that the manager is presented with a list of potential ins or outs and he agrees on them
No I didn't. But I wasn't referring to that. I was referring to the following:

Mauricio Pochettino: I'm not in charge of transfers, maybe Spurs should change my job title

"I am not in charge, I know nothing about the situation of my players. I am only coaching them, trying to get the best from them."

Just in case you question my sources:

If we were to pay off all of Lloris, Dier and Ndombele to go away, we'd have to cough up at least £20m in one go, not even spread out over the year, let alone the remainder of contracts.

And then you'd all moan if we couldn't afford a shiney new signing at CB.
