The point from my original post is that Eric Dier wasn’t going to accept it anyway. He’s turned down loan deals at better clubs in more favorable locations.
That might be why Burnley didn’t counter and there’s been no more negotiation.

I am happy to bet that Tosin isn’t going to beg to come to us with Eric Dier going the other way. Up for it?

You really didn't listen to it, did you. What he says is that all our signings are ones that are suited to his system and that he has a say in them. And that the only ones that he doesn't have a say in, and are "club signings," are the ones brought in for the academy.

Another ill-informed post.

It isn’t Lloris.
They might choose to keep N’Dombele just because of the difference in the money involved (20m vs 4m).
It’s clear TN wants a pay off but he’s done nothing to serve the club to deserve one. You can make a case for Dier.

Lloris is about to be a contract tear-up, payoff, whatever.

Ndombele won't be named in the squad but perhaps can yet be sold to Turkey.

But with no more incomings, our CB's are Romero, VDV, Sanchez, Davies.

They'd give Dier that last non-HG spot over just having it sit empty, I fear.
