That must hard as a Spurs fan

They say in AA meetings.... you don't have to be a spurs fan to be an alcoholic ......but it does help

I always feel like the reason we're all always arguing about things is because some of us are actually sober when we watch, so see the true picture :roflmao:

All the piss heads who spend half the game going for a wazz and can only see through one eye watch a totally different game.

This is not me being pedantic, I think it's just become a term in the world of PSR and FFP, but that would be just "profit"
"pure profit" is a term reserved for the selling of an academy player. This part I'm not sure about, but the "pure profit" deals may also sidestep the amortization process. IE, if you sell a purchased player, the income is spread over the 5 years or payment plan, but if you sell an academy product, it all goes in on Y1. Like I say though, I'm not 100% sure on that part.

Speaking of all that, looks like we might start getting linked to Gallagher again soon :roflmao:

All sales are logged in year 1, it's just an academy player sale is 100% profit so the full transfer fee gets logged vs a purchased player who's transfer fee will be offset against his amortisation.

As is my understanding anyway

Surely that would have to be in the contract?

Never heard of such a bizarre request before.
Paul Joyce is a Liverpool centric journalist if I'm not mistaken.

Reports earlier from Spain that Zubimendi is starting to show reluctance to leave Real Sociedad, and might want to stay.

Maybe this report is just the first phase of Liverpool trying to save face? So they can claim "Nah, he didn't reject Liverpool for Real Sociedad. Real Sociedad just started acting crazy and made a deal impossible."

If he didn't show reluctance surely he'd have given his decision by now? The season starts this weekend and Liverpool already agreed to pay his release clause.
