Thing is, most will try look at it with context Sorloth was very young, too young for the Prem. Looks to be showing he can play at the highest level. Just like SolankeHe'll say about Solankes goal record in the Prem ignoring last season but will also ignore the fact Sorloth didn't score for Palace

I’d rather have this SorlothGøran Sørloth scored 0 goals in 16 EPL game for Palace and he's been at 11 clubs in 9 years - and will turn 29 this December.
I rather have Solanke than Sørloth.
What about Sørlanke?Gøran Sørloth scored 0 goals in 16 EPL game for Palace and he's been at 11 clubs in 9 years - and will turn 29 this December.

I see he’s wearing his 6th game in charge of Spurs face…![]()
With these new misogyny laws, I prefer not to speak. If I speak i'm in big trouble
This. It’s going to take time, especially since we are going the Dortmund model of loading up on young potential stars. We’ve bought so many 18/19 year olds (not to mention having guys like Moore and Lankshear, and all the other academy kids). And how long does a rebuild take.
I seem to recall Artetas first full season 20/21 they were in 14th or something after the first 10 games and in 21/22 they were 10th or so after the same, having lost to newly promoted Brentford 2-0 on the opening day.
Will Ange turn it around, will things finally click properly soon? I hope so but obviously cannot say for sure. But if we are talking full rebuild, which we essentially are, then it for sure and has been shown by most teams other than City that it requires sticking with your man for a decent chunk of time.
Sniff!! sniff!!WLB claims that he broke the news about João Gomes a month ago (when I was in the news already anyway)... but that it's not serious yet even though all ther terms are" no issu"e, i.e., have been agreed on,...but yet there is no progress![]()
WLB on SC (about João Gomes)
Nothing serious atm. keen admirer of him since i broke it months ago and terms wont be an issue but its not progressed into anything atm.

The difference for me is Woolwich needed rice and they paid up for him. We need eze and we'll buy a player for half the price instead of getting what the manager and the club needs. It ends up not working out and we go and buy again.Bit of both probably, although I tend to feel we don’t spend well enough rather than we don’t spend enough.
Knowing Lange, the more they talk about it the lower the chances of it actually happening.WLB claims that he broke the news about João Gomes a month ago (when I was in the news already anyway)... but that it's not serious yet even though all ther terms are" no issu"e, i.e., have been agreed on,...but yet there is no progress![]()

That is including Porro and Kulusevski, which is frowned upon in these parts. If this is correct, you look at our team and are left thinking, "wtf??"

Like take Bergvall. Kid is going to be incredible. But he’s not going to be a world class mid this year. But maybe next year or the year after he starts to be one.
It makes sense to give Ange’s project time to cook and not bail on him because the players we’ve bought him are young and learning.

Also, for context, in that time Woolwich spent 311m on 5 players, we spent the 420m on 15 players, 7 of whom were 21 or under when we signed them.
