Would be a big gamble but the potential payoff is massive IMO. A very clearly talented young player who might jump at the chance to join us if we promise him 1st team minutes, which we are in a unique position to do should we choose to twist on Richarlison. I think Ange would see his quality in training and trust him in the 1st team like he's done with Udogie and Sarr, not just rely on the older player because of meaningless "experience" which is trumped by raw talent time and time again.

He really hasn't lived up to his early hype and is struggling to get games for Dortmund...

I don't know the rules so would appreciate if someone could explain the HG situation??

Do we have enough HG players as it is, or do we have to sign a couple?

Sounds like madness to sign players just because they are need to sign players that are better than the ones we've got. So KWP is a big no for me!
There's loads of explanations out there, just Google it. But in short, for the Premier League you can only have 17 senior non home grown players, so if you want a full squad you need HG players. In theory you could just name a squad of 17 foreign/ non home grown players plus pad it out with youth. But that'd be mad.

The rules are slightly different in UEFA competitions as some of the HG allocation also has to be club trained.

Unfortunately, for this team to be competitive, we need one stronger DF, one stronger MF, and one stronger FW.

We are just too average in so many aspects and, if we don't raise the overall level, then next season will be a copy and paste of this one.

Yes yes and yes. The priority has to be strengthening the first team and names like CHO, Werner etc do not do that. We need a world class no.6, a better striker who is not always injured and a top quality goal scoring winger, at the very least. If we cannot do all this then prioritise positions and get quality in, buy right once rather than buy cheap several times over.
If we so this then we worry about back ups like CHO or Werner but priority has to be the first 11.
