No real surprise to me.

I would actually put Championship above French league in terms of power and similarity to PL although not technique - and with a lot of younger French players joining clubs in other european countries (due to more money being available), the French league has both players with good technique playing alongside players who might even be embarrassed by their technique in the Championship.

I think the Argentine league ranking shows that we might have overestimated Veliz playing in a relatively poor league - its said by various sources that 600 - 900 players play for outside Argentina, hence the league is weaker than the renown of Argentine players.
 
I don't know the rules so would appreciate if someone could explain the HG situation??

Sounds like madness to sign players just because they are HG! We need to sign players that are better than the ones we've got. So KWP is a big no for me!
