Micky signed and played v Brentford 3 days later.Much easier to work with players in pre-season. If they come late he might not use them for 5-10 games as they get used to the system and this obviously will affect the outcome of the season

I looked at YouTube when we signed Gil. It was obvious that he would just get clattered in our league. Lightweight in the extreme. This lad is a different player completely.Out of interest, why?
I don’t pretend to be some font of football knowledge, but I’d never heard of this kid until five days ago and now he’s a dream?
His highlights look ok. Opens his body up, quick feet, but it’s hardly astonishing.
He also looks like he weighs about five stone.
People said exactly the same thing about Gil - he was apparently the future of football.
Whiteman and Austin will never be first team keepers for us. No ambition. Happy to do training and sit on the bench now and again. Both 25 yrs old. We do need a better second choice keeper.Kulu, Bentancur, Maddison, Bissouma, Porro, Davies, Romero, Son, Richy, are all experienced players and likely would be selected for starting a game.
Asking if we want more experienced players is all fine and well, but outside of a few, Gallagher as a prime example who would Ange be interested in who would come in an run their bollocks off for a hundred minutes week in week out?
Hanson once said you won't win anything with kids, something that is so outdated in todays game. Some clubs balk at buying a twenty eight year old nowadays.
I am hoping we look to the likes of Whiteman, Austin, Phillips, Gray, Sarr, Bergvall, Scarlett and Veliz as the future and not be afraid to introduce these next season over looking all the time for established talent.
This us why I think Levy isn't worried about pumping forty odd million on an eighteen year old. He will know that Ange will play him.
He'd have all our youngsters doing National Service!
I guess it depends if Ange is going to play Mikey Moore or not. If he's not getting as much game time as he wants he will look at other options. The big clubs??? Are you saying we are a little club.
Hes going nowhere.

It was a joke FFS!That's two political posts here this morning now - can we all agree to 'x' all political posts on this thread so they are auto-removed?

Just a follow up about my facetious post yesterday.
Yeah and those two lads on that show can't say where he would play in the current set up.think Dele is done at the top level, hasn't played a decent 90 mins in years .
I wish him well, but he's not for us
His contract is expiring in a year, but yeah usually when a club is dying to get rid of an injury ridden winger it does not fill you with confidence.
You’ve got to be wary of top clubs keen to get rid of ‘top’ players…. See also De Ligt..
