I think Kulusevski did a pretty good job as a #9 in the last game this season. Scored 2. He's probably the best option we have at the moment if Richy is out, maybe even better then Richy in that position. He's a smart player, can hold up play, got a good eye for a pass, makes runs and can be pretty ruthless in front of goal. If he's was our starting #9 I'm sure he would score 15 goals next season. He won't be, but that's what I think.
hes miles better as a 9 than Son is

Priority for me is still a centre forward. Son is better on the left, Richarleson is better on the left, Werner is better on the left. Openda would be my first choice but happy with Toney or David.

I've seen us linked to striker Lois Openda for around £80m. This is unusual because normally when we are linked to strikers it's David £20m or Gimenez £30m or Toney £40m.

I don't watch the Bundesliga, so don't know a lot about him. His reviews are good, his highlights reels are good and his stats are good. Definitely seems like an upgrade to me.

Can this happen?

Sounds legit

Come on lads, and lasses, cough up, you know it makes sense....from SC

Good morning peasants

Here's a nice surprise for you all, it's that time of the transfer window again so fuck the rent and petty shit like providing warmth, food and clothing your saucepans, some things are actually important.

HAVE YOU DONATED THIS MONTH/YET/AT ALL?

As you all know, SC relies on your donations to be able to provide a unrivalled coverage of ITK, if it wasn't for you guys, the server would crash left right and centre and we simply couldn't afford to run it without resorting to limiting the number of members or something

We know from previous experience that there's a LOT of you who lurk, one time we had 600 voters participate in a poll.

Six bloody hundred. And that's just the yokes who bothered voting. Whichever way you slice it that's a lot. If everyone slung just three or four quid in the pot we'd be sorted for quite a while, so if you've never donated before, please consider doing so now.

I reckon we've a shedload of lurkmeisters, so come on guys, if you're one of them and you enjoy SC's coverage of the Transfer Window (and lets face it, you do because you're here right?), then please chip in. It doesn't have to be a massive amount.

And if you happen to be a Spurs mad gazzillionaire, cough the fuck up. And if you're Daniel Levy, fucking hell shortstuff, put your hands in your pockets. And get the BSoDL to chip in too.

But A&C, where does the money go?

Outgoings: The server costs £400 per month. Forum software purchases/licenses/misc comes to around £500 a year. So currently, the cost of SC is about £5k a year.

Incomings: Advertising/Affiliates can sometimes cover the costs during the transfer window (January, July, August) but thats sometimes. The rest of the year that falls well short. Its difficult to give an exact figure because the numbers don't stay the same but i'd say £100 a month during the quiet months. Donations during the quiet months come to about £50pm if we're lucky.

Rob will know better than I do, but I reckon we're short by about £2500 a year. And the income from ads is probably down.

If one month we raise more than is needed, it stays in the pot as it won't be long before it IS needed. The shortfall is made up out of Robs pocket. I'll repeat that.......It comes out of his pocket. Think about that for a minute. I reckon he pays an average of £50 a WEEK. Just so you lot can abuse each other

This is why i'm often cajoling, nudging, outright begging and open to bribery during the transfer window. It's when the most of you are about and our last big donation drive raised enough to cover costs for a couple of months or so.

Any excess raised stays in the pot until its needed when donations/income goes right down. Absolutely nothing goes on anything other than SC's running costs. Well, occasionally the odd prostitute.......

This is genuinely unreal.. anyone know the reason the fighting cock don’t cry poor and always seems to be SC?

Isn’t the point with Toney that he can do most of what Richy does in and around the box AND hold it up better and bring others in to play?

I’ve said it before but I think they’d make a good pair for us. Richy for his relentless pressing and Toney for his all round play. Different games would suit different styles

I’m thinking games where we were really holding on to get over the line and couldn’t hold the ball. Everton home and away, Brentford at home we were crying out for an outlet

Kane was absolutely brilliant at it. Buying fouls, getting us up the pitch. Holding the ball and feeding runners (son, Johnson, Werner) - can see how it would work

prob helps makes up for the plenty of times a player should have gotten an assist

That too.

The main point for me is that the great players know how to make the game simple. if a player can consistently score or assist simple goals they are exactly the type of player you want. The idea is to make the game as high percentage as possible.

People that don't understand sport at high levels think it's easy to just be there and tap it in or play the simple pass to the guy that scores because they don't understand how hard it is to be there in the first place.

Agree. Never a traditional #9 but as a false 9 dropping deep etc he has everything you want. People will say it was only Sheff UTD but he played like a wide #9 a lot of the season, especially against teams that press like Liverpool when he was our out ball on the right wing and did that function as well as any hold up striker. He's a fucking unit and strong enough to keep people on his back and then carry the ball up the pitch.

He's a reliable finisher too when he gets a chance and if you look at the goals he's scored against City over the years too, they are all poacher type goals.

I tried to log in just to post something along the lines of 'I'll donate when I see the first clear case of being ITK'.

Then remembered they banned me before I even joined. My registration was declined!

Nobs.
