Just because we've never done that before does it mean we won't ever do it?

What are you talking about Muppet Boy?You said he was better than Johnson before a ball was kicked despite him not scoring any goals in the Prem
It was obvious to everyone that he had higher potential or higher ceiling which was never in doubt but not all players were guaranteed to fulfill their potential mate which is why it isn't such a ridiculous thing to say
Hindsight merchant.

That goal against United was something I wouldn't trust anyone in our squad to do right now.
He can compete for a 50/50 so offers something different than our other powderpuffs

I said he was better in August 2023 when they signed him so how is it hindsight?
He had kicked enough balls for City by then to make that call despite a lack of "goal contributions". You just don't know your arse from your elbow, obviously.

On one hand you grumble at the club for lacking ambition and then on the other you want to sign a player who hasn't played any consistent football for 3 years and most probably wouldn't get back to anywhere near his peak but ok
Anyone who still wants to sign Onana from Everton needs their head looking at he looks completely disinterested in any kind of fight to keep Everton up.
sentimentality aside he needs to go somewhere he will play every week. He was phenomenal for us in his first 3 seasons but that was an awfully long time ago now, he's been rusting on the bench at Everton for the best part of 2 years, coming back here and flopping will kill what remaining prospect there is of him reviving his career.
We've just about finally moved on from that Poch side that should have been rebuilt in 2018. Lets not start getting them back together.
Tbf, he was starting for England not long ago.Uh what? Mount was In terrible form for Chelsea last season, he was coming off the back of a bad season and Mount isn't even THAT highly rated.
The fact that Toney is 28 means he's in his prime so you're getting guarantee now not in the future, strikers/forwards also generally go for a premium as well.
Anyway pointless arguing now, we will see.
He interested me and a couple of others in the January thread.Yep. Saw this showreel before.
Very impressive. 2 footed, strong skilful and quick-ish.
