Clubs that the media told us needed to sell players don't. Suddenly teams we were told would sell their players at reasonable costs don't have to.
So likely won't sign anyone from Chelsea, Palace, Everton, Newcastle or Villa as they'll be too pricey for our world class Chairman. Throw in the fact that Chelsea and City among others do seem to have money to spend, means that fees will remain artificially hig.
Good to see 25 years of planning coming to a head.
