Come Here Dr Evil GIF

Really need to get a hurry on with these outgoings to have any chance at bringing in the level we need to catch the title chasers.

May as well release Solomon on a free.

Davies we probably should release on a free and allow him to choose his next club.

Reguillon slash the price down, PEH and GLC slash those prices right down as well.

We are not going to be releasing Davies on a free or slashing the price of PEH. These are two good players who will attract PL interest.

Interesting thing for me in the Gray and Bergvall deal is that the club was very engaged with the families and explaining the vision of the project and where their kid fits within that vision.

If Doue still leans on his family a lot at 19 then it wouldn't surprise me if that works in our favour again.

Depends on what his family want.

If they're influenced by getting him the most money and a pathway to international stardom through marketing then they'll likely choose PSG and go down the Barcola route.

Davies is probably wanting to go back to Wales to see out his career. He's been such a good servant i'd be open to releasing him and allowing him to see out his career.

PEH was available the whole summer and January window and nobody wanted to pay 25m. Now he's got a year left and if we aren't careful clubs will just wait it out and get him on a free.

Would love to see some movement this week, still a lot to do with incomings as well as outgoings

Winger- Doue/Neto
AM/wing cover - Eze
DM - ?
Striker - Toney?
Left sided Defender - ?
Right sided defender - is this covered now with Gray?

even without the right sided defender that's 5 players.

and Hojbjerg, Lo Celso, Gil, Solomon, Spence, Davies, Emerson, Reguilon etc all to be found homes

and prob - Devine, Dorrington, Phillips, Mikey Moore to be found decent loans?

Transfers in by our direct competitors - Woolwich (Raya who was on a loan with option to buy), Manu (nobody), Liverpool (nobody),

Other than the Everton/Villa/Chelsea transfers to improve their ffp position, nobody else doing any/many signings - Spurs signing Gray with loan signing Werner and Bergvall (can only sign in a window - his February 'sign/loan back' now officially recognised in transfer to Spurs) makes us look good.

Not sure that much real business being done yet - at best clubs are talking.
Woolwich and Bindippers aren't our competitors friend.
Manure,Villa,Blue scum,Barcodes our level

For sure but the same was true for Bergvall and probably even Gray with Dortmund on the scene.

If we managed to get those parents on board with what we are trying to do, then for sure we have a chance of doing it again with Doue's parents.

1000% mate.

If we only have the budget for those 2 then do that and at least we have added real quality.

No more squad players, please. If we have to keep Ashley Phillips as the 4th CB and use VDV at LB at times, it's far from perfect but I could live with it until January if it means we get the forward line some real quality.
I’m massively for this. Would much rather an inferior “yoot” player than a slightly less inferior established player.
Coz u know what, every once in a while they’ll become a Kane*

* obviously never gonna be that good but 1st team quality

POK said that his wife has a business in Hampstead, and that they like living there, so it’s unlikely that he would want to go back to Wales. At this moment anyway

POK also said that the club will leave it to Davies to decide what he wants to do. They’re happy for him to stay if he wants.

Dickie I would shut your mouth if I were you nobody likes a big mouth who can't back it up.Take a chill pill and choose a new blouse for work tomorrow.
Give me some fact that proves Woolwich and Bindippers are in our orbit

Swansea or Cardiff then 😂

Davies stays for me. We have a lot of games next season, and at the moment no cover for the left side.

Even if we sign a LCB / LB hybrid player, that still leaves just Udogie / VDV / New player for two positions. One injury and you have no cover.

He is a model pro, perhaps not at the standard we like, but for me, he certainly has another year here.

I don't think Gray was that hard of a pull. He said it himself, his family are Celtic fans, like he is, and Ange was a factor as well as Spurs looking like they're going places.

Bergvall still surprises me to this day - but I also wonder how much of Barcelona being a mess swayed him. Plus, the game time we supposedly have promised him.

Whilst it's likely we will promise Doue the same, I think there's a gap in that PSG front line for Doue now that Mbappe has gone and all it takes is for Luis Enrique to give that vision to Doue. And I don't think Doue is comparable to those other two.

We just have to hope that he is happy to see us as that stepping stone to a bigger club. (unless of course we achieve greatness when he's here)

Both mate.

We need 2 starting quality players for the forwards

At least one starting quality defender

A starting quality creative midfielder to push Maddison and some would say a #6 but personally I’m less worried about that for now.

4 top quality players in one summer, from here. Really need to get a wriggle on.
I would say THAT'S our most important position to strengthen!!

We were leaking goals left to right this past season, mostly because our back 4 didn't get enough protection from central midfield. Mostly in transition.

We can't keep haggling on with Biss, Skipp, Hoijbjerg, if we want to put pressure on the teams above us.

Sure yes we need wingers too, but there's a lot we need.

It won't happen, but i will list what we need if we want to put pressure on the big clubs.

1. 1 high calibre midfielder (defensively and tactically strong)
2. 1 striker to compete with Richy
3. 1-2 wingers, better than we got
4. 1 goalkeeper (competition for Vic)
5. 2 new fullbacks (competition for Porro/Udogie)
6. 1 CB

You're welcome!
