Deep down I think every single one of us knows this. Even those who would never, ever admit it.
It’s clearly a factor but how come the Senegalese market never gets mentioned when it’s Sarr or the Swedish one with Bergvall?

We’ve had chances to sign other Koreans (the meltdown over Mourinho lying over Kim MJ, Kang Lee last summer etc.)

He’s the most promising young talent out there and it fits in with the others we’re signing.

If it was markets Levy were purely after surely he’d just have 2 designated squad places, 1 Indian, 1 Chinese . Sorted.

Another post questioning/insulting my mental health. Admin Admin

Well, you are Welsh.

just kidding jk GIF

feels like this is the one, our big marque signing - be a club record too no doubt

I'd be happy with it, need more clever players. Too many times next season will teams have 10 behind the ball against us all game
Agree with this. Madders,Bergvall and Eze are the types we need plus a centre forward that will open up all sorts here boring fucking low block teams. The more of those types the better.
The embarrassing bit for these shit teams is that they usually end up losing anyway. Football is so negative nowadays.

I knew he was betting on himself, but didn’t realise he was betting on Brentford to lose, something he could have a direct impact on in a negative way!

That should be a hard pass then!
The betting incidents precede his time at Brentford.

Ivan Toney made 13 bets against his own team in seven different matches between August 2017 and March 2018. He was not in the match squad or not eligible to play in any of these matches.

During this period, he was on loan to Wigan and Scunthorpe. It’s not clear from the material I’ve read if he bet against his loan club or parent club (Newcastle).

Probably because the Senegalese and Swedish fanbases don't follow football the same way Koreans (and Asians in general) do. They will follow a player from club to club. There may be a residual affection for the club after the player leaves, but it's the player they're going to see.
I've seen African fans in general tend to just support the best players regardless of nationality. Evert social media post is just Messi this, Ronaldo that from Africans.
Swedes are just chill.
