I’ve seen Gyokeres play live and he’s class. Similar to Solanke, his all round play and aggression, plus touch will massively improve us

Everyone that’s seen him says the same.

I haven’t so I can only speak on Solanke but from what I can tell they both bring a pretty similar profile and skill set. Gyokeres has probably got a bigger profile and sexier name due to playing for Sporting instead of Bournemouth but both of them have what we need.

Massive Richy fan but with his injury record and Ange confirming he wants a striker, it’s fucking obvious the club don’t think Richy can stay fit for a season.

If that’s the case, tbh I’d prefer to sell Richy, bring one of Solanke/Gyokeres then use Kulusevski as the rotation #9 and get another RW.

And as a huge Ange fan he can fuck off with not getting it done in one window either. That needs to happen this summer.

I'd agree but we have never been willing to buy players in Solanke, Eze and Neto's position (and arguably Gallagher's). I don't understand why they were made targets when we know the club won't pay (and Levy is distracted with the same). Poor work from Lange.

Who was calling for Solanke instead of Richy when he scored 29 in the Championship the year that Bournemouth came up?
Osimhen scored 14 goals in Serie A that same season, who was calling for him instead of Richy?

If you are saying fans get interested in players when they have good seasons in big leagues, I don't really get your point.

So far, this transfer window has a touch of, something is not quite right behind the scenes.
I don't think it's the infamous 2018 missed opportunity window but, I don't think ange will get what he wants, B,C or D alternatives incoming.

Richy hasn't played a minute in pre season, I expect him to be off soon.
