Raphina… those injuries take their toll
If the SC membership don’t cotton on to their antics after this window, they never will!![]()
Is the other part slagging him off if he doesn't hit the ground running, and the club for paying what they did?I know it’s considered poor form to hope for a big name signing and, instead, we need to demonstrate a sort of restrained wisdom about procuring the right player for the right position but, fuck it.
I’d love to see us go get a big name, even if only on loan. Chiesa, Raphina etc. Someone exciting.
Getting excited about your team signing an established player is part of the fun.
Neither for me. I also think players forced out of Barca or Real, their dream clubs, often have their spirit broken, which is as bad as an injury.
They really do take the absolute piss out of us.....Both on and off the pitch.Someone tell me that Spurs are more ambitious with regards the actual football side of things than Chelsea with a straight face.
Up front signing on fee, reducing the actual wage so it's either on par or lower than Son.Chiesa is a really good player. He’s a strong little bugger. I think his marauding style of wing play would adjust well to the PL.
I think the problem will be that he’s apparently looking for 200plus a week, so would want to be on more than Son. I can’t see us going for that.
Yeah, sure. Why not.Is the other part slagging him off if he doesn't hit the ground running, and the club for paying what they did?
If that’s true then why wait until now to sign him? It could have been done in July. I’m calling bullshit on that.
The only leverage we had in this deal is the threat that we'd activate his release clause on the last day, when it would be impossible to replace him. Starting to deal with them early in the window would've led to them just pointing at the release clause and telling us to pay up, but since we're closer to the end of the window we have more leverage, so they have to be more flexible.
*Sign some players*
When i was young we used to have Airgun fights. With Ski goggles to secure the eyes. Small weapons can hurt quite a bit. I was hit in my forehead. Still got the scar. It was quite exciting.Solanke’s arrows v Madder’s darts - my weapons bigger than yours!
Somebody’s going to lose an eye!
