Does anyone follow why solomon is on the sell list? If I remember correctly, he put in some nice performance for Ange

Because there is a limit on the number of players we can register in the squad, so if we have better, fitter (less injury prone) players, Solomon goes.

2 starts under Ange only both against bottom PL teams, one ok performance against worst defence in PL and one 'meh' performance ....... and injured for 80% of all matches, worse even than his injury record at Fulham.

Chiesa defo won’t happen guys if POK and Ali Gold both said we have no interest we’re not gonna change our minds. It’s clear Ange doesn’t work like that.

For someone like Ange who values so much on character, I am not sure he's impressed with his explosiveness from the way he kicked the chair and the Copa bottle-throwing incident. Even Romero is not that uncontrollable TBH.
Agree, ange like explosive players. I would argue that will be his downfall.

Every team needs a modric, pirlo, beckham etc Without them, its all huff and puff with no brains. The road we seem to be going down with Wener, Johnson etc..

Bergwijn wasn't so much a winger though, he was an inside forward like Son/Johnson type. Bakayoko is a pure touchline winger, his numbers wouldn't be comparable to Bergwijn.

Either way, whoever they have lined up meant they didn't need to be desperate enough to go north of 60m for Neto. So they must have an option they like.
Is his dribbling that good? Open minded- but do you have stats for this?
I just saw him in the Euros and he didn’t stand out to me.

It's a smart rumour to spread if you've been haggling over a price and not getting anywhere.
That's why you don't believe anything you hear from 'sources'.
The club are never going to come out and say player X is no.1 target as it bumps the price up, we have money to spend - bumps price up, we have finished spending - possibly makes another club think twice about the offer in front of them.
It's all games and mind tricks.
To be honest it's the same with Ange and tactics during the season. Even if he is going to change it why would you advertise it beforehand?

You're probably right. Although everything points to us definitely being able to afford him. Wether or not the desire is there is a completely different matter of course.
And I wouldn't call Solanke a marquee signing either. A bread and butter signing to fill a gaping hole left by selling Kane a year ago.. Or much needed competition for Richarlison depending on your POV,....but Marquee signing?...nah, I ain't having that.
I think he’s the biggest transfer fee of this window so far for any club barring Alvarez?
