Frustrating yet predictable.
Fuck us up then change how they apply the rules.
Cunts is the only word to describe this fuckery
The annoying thing is, they didn’t sit in a room last year and say we aren’t going to blow for obstruction, they just didn’t penalise it. I also hated the narrative set by the Neville cartel of ”he should be stronger“ when Vic was so blantantly obstructed. Fairly sure this was him trying to validate Onana nearly decapitating a player in their first game of the season vs Wolves and it wasn’t given a pen and they went on to win the game.

I'm still not entirely sure how to interpret that punditry: were they simply being moronic or making a more calculated signal to opposition teams to bully Vicario while the going was good?

Maybe a bit of both.

Just seen Brighton are close to getting Ferdi Kadıoğlu. Now that would be a good transfer to hijack!

Sorts cover out for both LB and RB!

Think Fenerbache even want Reguilon to replace him . . . 👀

Even so I thought we were so naive to keep allowing the blocking and fouling of Vicario to continue. Eventually we tried putting someone between Vic and the opposing louse allocated to blocking him. We could have done the same to teach opponents a lesson but hardly ever did I see us do this.

I think we could have done more, but I also think the punditry did their (intended) job to get in the brains of refs and give Vic a reputation for just 'being soft'. There were other matches where identical bullying of the keeper got blown up, but never for us.
