I wonder why we aren't interested in Matt O'Reilly, he seems like the kind of midfielder we'd be interested in, and it looks like Brighton are getting him for 25m.

Skip is a good lad and I wish him well.

Pre injury I did think he was going to kick on and become a key piece but it was not the case even though he was our best LB performer during the Udogie injury…..which should be telling us something

“Depends on a lot of factors” - people actually pay for that shit

Here is one for free from me - we might sign Lionel Messi, it depends on a lot of factors

THEY GET PAID FOR THAT, ACTUAL MONEY
Meanwhile, Admin Admin puts up with our shit for free.

Masochist.

I didn't realise he'd said that, but it makes sense given our tactical setup. Bergvall and Gray can do the job as 6/8-type players who can tackle* and get good balls forward.

* If you can call Bergvall's ankle-breakers tackling.

I don't doubt either players ability and to switch positions, but pre-season Bergvall has stood out when playing, second only to Kulu in our warm up games with a shoutout to Spence.

It's too big a step coming up from the National League Division Three, straight into the heat of the Premier League.

It's somewhere between League 1 and Championship. Celtic and Rangers would survive in the Championship IMO. Given their financial resources, give them both 2 seasons and I'd expect them to get promoted.

Its a different conversation but I'm convinced it would be better for Scottish football to incorporate all their teams into the English Pyramid. The bigger clubs would definitely benefit from the money.

Right, time to start getting tanked up. Five pints, one line, drop an E then a chaser as a coda.

Oh no, wait, I'm 50. I meant a cup of Earl Grey and a game of rummikub with the missus.

Earl Grey is the king of teas. Couple of those chocolate covered bourbons that Nutter-Naylor Nutter-Naylor found in M&S and you're sorted right out.

Too hot for tea in Spain tho.
