Bergvall came on and did well when we were chasing a winner at Leicester, are you even watching these games? They are young but they are players for now. That’s why they are playing.

If you don’t want to trust young players that’s fair enough, they can’t always deliver, but they are not players for the future. They are the replacements for Hojbjerg, Lo Celso and Solomon.
He did ok. One of the more positive aspects. That was against a team that's going down.
He also very near cost us the game.

He considers himself a genius but he is like a bloke at the beginning of a 16 horse race predicting none of them will win.

I think there is an element of denial from a section of Spurs fans.

They want to believe that Gray, Bergvall and Odobert are ones for the future but they aren’t. If they were they’d have gone out on loan like Sarr and Udogie did. Or like Vuskovic has.

Yang is probably one for the future and I’m expecting a European loan in January like we saw with Veliz.

But Ange has been very public that he trusts Gray, Bergvall and Odobert NOW. To him, they are the squad upgrades.

Chelsea ‘launch stunning Ivan Toney transfer move’ with England striker running out of time to seal Brentford exit

CHELSEA have made a stunning move to sign Ivan Toney, according to reports.
The England international appeared set for a move to Saudi Arabia with Al-Ahli.

However, according to Sky Sports, Chelsea have now made a late move to sign the Brentford forward.

The 28-year-old has not been included in Thomas Frank's squads for either of their first two league games of the season amid the transfer speculation.

It is suggested there is a good chance the deal will be successful, with Toney's transfer fee expected to be "reasonable".

Chelsea reportedly want Toney because they are after a proven No9 and due to his impressive goalscoring record at every level.

Have you got a link to where Ange said that?

Well, without sounding confrontational, the OP might have played with his words somewhat. The manager was replying to Ally Gold, who asked him about the situation at the club with respect to club trained players for European games.

"You spend more time thinking about that than I do" was his reply (or words to that effect)

Didn't include these ones in those thousand games then

Whenever we rest players in cups we play shit and lose, or have to put all the better players on to salvage it.
Nothing different this season.
Agree, the way to do it is to change up to 4 players each match whether it is a cup or PL. make good use of subs to keep players fresh but not wholesale changes. So you do not replace both CB’s or both WB ‘s at the same time. This creates more stability.

They're teenagers. It's not even morally appropriate for us to expect them to perform to the required level week in week out now.

1 or 2 IMO, each match. It gives everyone a break sometimes and it makes the opposition have to wait until kick off to see what they're up against.
Wholesale changes in knock out comps is dumb in and risky.

Toney
Neto - Felix - Palmer

Is a pretty damn good forward line. With Madueke/Jackson/Nkunku in rotation.

It may be fun to laugh at Chelsea but we've seen what can happen when they click with those 6 goals against Wolves.

They finished 3 points behind us last season. We will do well to better that this season.

‘As it stands, Romelu Lukaku, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ben Chilwell, Raheem Sterling, Trevoh Chalobah, Djordje Petrovic, Carney Chukwuemeka, David Datro Fofana, Armando Broja, Angelo Gabriel, Deivid Washington, Alex Matos, Harvey Vale and Lukas Bergstrom’

This is the lot Chavs have to move out. Chalobah is very good and a very odd player for Chavs to sell considering they are keeping a few donkeys at CB.

Morally appropriate?

They are teenagers so maybe fans can't expect it but it's not like teenagers have never been able to perform consistently before. If the club have decided both are mature and consistent enough then fair enough. Hopefully we see the reasons why they have decided that over the next few weeks.

Absolutely it is. For all the shit we talk about the Chavs, that frontline is easily better than ours, with real depth too. Brennan Johnson, our starting right winger, is worse than every single player listed there. I’d take Madueke over Kulusevski as well at least on the wing, and obviously we know how good Neto is, we were all desperate to sign him.

Concerning times.
