THST Fan Survey 2024: Currently, there are nowhere near enough away tickets to meet supporter demand, so we support the Club’s efforts to ensure that the named season ticket holder uses the seat. Loyal fans who follow the team home and away week in and week out should rightly be awarded loyalty points, which should be the basis on which tickets are allocated. However, it becomes increasingly difficult to support the status quo when it is clear that LPs accumulate despite not attending the match. Any innovations, including digital ones, that willing and passing on of tickets reduce the tout will be supported by THST.

I seem to remember the old leadership of the trust not being so vocal/concerned about this situation. Am I misremembering?
 
I used to go to West Ham and Chelsea away back in 2010-2012 easily with a membership.

Now as a ST holder I am nowhere near getting those tickets.

When the away ticket prices weren’t capped, I don’t think the buying and reselling was as much of a thing as you were then risking spending 50-60 quid.

Chelsea got as high as £90 for away tickets prior to the cap, which was definitely a factor.

The Trust’s New Year’s Resolutions for the Club
We wish all our members and Spurs fans everywhere a healthy and happy New Year and here’s hoping that our dedication to the team will be rewarded with success at last. The result against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup was certainly a good start!

As it’s a new year, we have come up with some resolutions for Spurs and we will be doing our best to ensure the Club meet them:

* Provide affordable tickets for all games, valuing its longstanding fans and reflecting loyalty by maintaining concession rates for children, young adults and seniors.

* Continue to develop sound finances and revenue streams and investing the proceeds in the team to achieve success and keeping ticket prices affordable.

* Ensure that the FAB has real power and that the issues discussed are the ones that matter most to fans. Engage constructively with the Trust on matters that fall within its remit.

* Empower supporter groups working to improve atmosphere and publicise their work, to create a wall of sound in the South Stand and across the stadium as a whole.

* Ensure that the sale of match tickets is confined to official channels and to home fans, including introduction of rolling QR codes and ways for home fans to anonymously report away fans in home sections.

* With so much demand for so few away tickets, ensure away tickets are used by the named fans and that the current allocation system is enforced.

* Oh, and a trophy would be nice…
