I think you're right in saying that none of his old clubs would consider paying money for him, but do believe some clubs would snap him up on a free quick smart. There's bound to be managers around who are delusional enough to think they can still turn him around.

I was one of those naive enough to think MAYBE Ange could bring him up to the level needed...
his natural ability isn't in question, but the attitude seems to be wasting any natural ability he might have once had.... and I imagine, most of his peers have caught up and overtaken him now.
What a waste of a potential career.... but he won't care, someone in Turkey or the Middle East will pay him disgusting amounts to lollop about at half pace over there.... He hardly has to EARN it!

It was a very well-known fact that he was lazy well before Spurs bought him (there were several articles about his laziness) - which is why only the dim-witted scouts (+Pochettino) were stupid enough to pay the ransom.

I find it all too convenient that he got a "knock" before our first pre-season game.
What a waste of money.
We have so many better pros than him who get treated worse.
I think canceling his contract is out of the question, will be too expensive.
