Ex-Spurs Player Tanguy Ndombele

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He has all the talent in the world - I remember his first game and thinking we really have someone special. I don't really wish him any bad vibes but am glad we are rid of him. Let's keep the clearout going.

The stocks that I invested in this guy from when I saw Lyon win at the Etihad in the CL - This guy nearly made me homeless. It's a insult to the sport that the guy has been blessed with all that talent but simply isn't driven.

Great footballer my arse. I think the brevity of the club's official statement about sums up how he is regarded.

Fingers crossed that's the back of him though I doubt it. Rinse and repeat next summer...

‘Great’ footballer? How?

Amazing on the eye with his silky skills, but no idea how you can call him great.

He had some good performances many years ago, but got his big move and downed tools.

He career will be remembered as one of the biggest transfer flops in PL history - that’s the sad reality.
I’ve got Bentley and Soldado ahead of him for us. Especially the latter, sickened me that he’d get applauded for missing open goals.

In this current era Sancho, Maguire, Kepa, Lukaku’s return to Chelsea, Donny Van De Beek, Drinkwater, Naby Keita, Mustafi…

Some great shouts there.

I don’t think anyone thought Ndombele was a bad signing at the time. We just didn’t realise he would effectively give up wanting to work hard as a footballer. Probably Jose was an awful appointment for him at the time.

I wondered if Ange could have been the man to turn him around but seems Ange realised quickly the player is not interested.

I think he just meant his footballing ability is great, or at least could be if he worked hard on the pitch.
Unquestionable skill on the ball, very questionable personality/ mentality
