Ex-Spurs Player Tanguy Ndombele

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Like I said it followed the wink wank theme. But mason was a complete idiot as a footballer

Harsh, but to question his intelligence as a player; so be it.

and as it turned out as a coach he continued to make such dimwitted decisions.

Extremely inexperienced coach makes debatable decision (trusting his instincts that a player is lazy)...... Hardly a radical scenario.

Once Jose was sacked; our run-in was a matter of character (also see Sherwoods stimt); not tactical excellence..... And for that reason, his approach was entirely rational/practical.

The pile-on he experienced as a brief interim manager has been (and remains) WAY over the top.

The fact that you call Poch a wanker too just reaffirms you're just getting carried away with yourself and that all managers have it in them make dubious calls (Son at WB? Dav at FB? WDF???).

I actually love poch . At least from his second season onwards when he realised how shit mason was and then eventually sold him. I liked Mourinho too, he eventually had the squad figured out as well and had dumped out the worst players we had like Winks/Doherty out of the team. I do like Nuno and hope he doesnt make terrible decisions likes poch/mason in finals (if we reach a final)

That's not what was said.... The guy said if he has pride he WOULD leave.
What the player wants is not enough, there have to be clubs interested and matching Don Levy’s conditions, something that is not down to him.

Btw if he had left already, would you have said “props to Ndombele for having pride and leaving the club” or more along the lines “not commited, terrible attitude etc”.

He's played well perhaps 10 times in 2 years......

Most of which he couldn't last beyond 60mins.

That's not doing "enough".
And the team has played well throughout 90 minutes for how many times, in these last 2 years? Lo Celso has played well how many times? Hojbjerg? Winks? But wait, it doesn’t matter because they didn’t cost 60m, which again, is something not down to Ndombele.

Perhaps he might consider dropping his wage demands if he wants out bad enough?

Besides, that reply just moves the goalposts..... You originally false-quoted the other chap in order to defend TN.

As has already been said; if he opts to leave having requested it 2/3 times since he's bene here then yeh; he's obviously un-committed.

That's basic logic.

Nah... It's got nothing to do with pricetag.

PEH came away from the season with some credit....

So did Kane.

So did Sonny.

So did Hugo.

It's possible.

Regardless..... As per most of peoples sentiment here; I can forgive wavering form. It's a lack of commitment and application that I take issue with.

Three different managers and none of them have truly trusted him - that says it all to me.

All the talent in the world but doesn't appear to have ever settled, or shown enough desire to play in this league

All the talent in the world apparently and yet you can count the amount of good games he's had in a Spurs shirt on your hands. If there was ever a definition of over-rated in football then it is this prick.

No other team wants him. He's on far too big wages and also nobody in the right mind would want to pay most of what we paid for him.

He's a disgrace. Belongs at a banter/joke club like Woolwich, not with us.
We have winks, dier , doherty, davinson, aurier, and until very recently sissoko. He fits right in with these banter players. But we have to start the clearout somewhere and getting rid of a 60m asset doing nothing should be high priority. Do a gareth bale and pay some of his wages while hes loaned out to someone else. if we have to.

Yeah, he's not alone, but even players like Dier and Sissoko put in the effort. The fact that Ndombele does have some ability, albeit nowhere near as much as some try to make out, makes it even worse.

Perhaps... Levy wouldn’t take less than 40m, which most clubs aren’t willing to pay, have you thought about that? Or you’re “ignoring” it on purpose?

Besides, that reply just moves the goalposts..... You originally false-quoted the other chap in order to defend TN.If he had an ounce of pride or self worth he should have left the club at the same time as Joe.
Not even sure why I bother giving you articulate answers you when it’s clear you’re not reading them properly. In fact you know what, this is the last time I reply to you, off to the ignore list. I don’t wanna turn toxic again because of people like you. Good day.

Nope; not ignoring it..... Considering he cost 60m a reluctance to take too much of a hit is perfectly understandable; especially as he obviously has oodles of ability...

I mean why should we accept a paultry 30m; he's a future GOAT afterall....?

Well done for 'subtly' trying to make this about "Wah, Airfixx loves Levy" though.

LOL... I wasn't aware you'd started.

don't worry you are normal ! i am already ignoring probably 20+ people here :nunofacepalm:

If his training everyday then he must be fit? His not thrown a tantrum or anything. No one actually knows if his asked to leave either. So I don’t get Nuno”s stance. He surely be in the match day squad. His attitude must be ok if his turned up for training every day. Not had any reports his refused to train. I’d still have him on the bench. I want to know why Nuno is not selecting him squads.

All the reports say he asked to leave:

Tanguy Ndombele tells Tottenham he wants to leave

Why Ndombele wants to leave Tottenham (and why the club are willing to let him go)

Tanguy Ndombele: Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo says it's 'not my job to convince players to play' as midfielder seeks exit

He wants to leave and doesn't want to stay at Tottenham, until the window is closed it wouldn't be prudent to use him. An injury could cost us a lot of money if a transfer is coming.

Pre season going well for my man
