Ex-Spurs Player Tanguy Ndombele

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Tactical. Yeah, tactical because he can't track runners when he's too fucked to run.
Haha so you bring on Winks and Sissoko who don't track runners even when they are fit to run.

Remind me how that went and how many times we lost leads after he went off? Yeh forgot about that part i guess..

I get it you think he's a cunt but don't act like he hasn't actually got some footballing ability we can make use of and have done so. Even the dinosuar was picking him for every league game ahead of shit like Winks, there's a pretty obvious reason for that.

The man was a fool. Cant recall the poster who said don't judge anyone until you remove the Mourinho tax but they were spot on. Can't believe any Spurs supporter defending his decision let alone carrying a torch for the turgid crap we got served. Most poorly coached Spurs team I've ever seen and I've see Christian Gross.

If I had to chose one, I'd probably keep Ndombele over Lo Celso. Both have only shown glimpses of much more promise but for me Ndombele has shown significantly more of them imho. Add to that we're now finding out Lo Celso is just as willing to tank the season as Kane or Ndombele or any other wantaway with his apparent determination to play for Argentina at the expense of playing the majority of the season for Spurs. Both have been a massive letdown when compared with their potential but Ndombele has easily been the superior signing, which is really damning for Gio.

Do Dele + Winks + Lo Celso combined have pieces of play this good over the past 2 years, or can we pick up on their great attitude through the video?

Its funking infuriating he is the player in world football that could turn us into contenders. He just has to want to do it, even if its merely to get the hell out of England. Can't we just lock him in a gym with Sonny's dad and tell him to have at him.

All that video and we are still a better team when he’s off the field.

Says 2 things

1) He has glaring weaknesses. We know this.

2) Is he out of position? Can he play another position where we can use his skill set without him hurting us so much defensively? Up to the manager to figure this out.

He has all the natural talent in the world but has no natural talent in doing anything about it.
He will end up back in France playing in games where he can do 15 mins work and get away with it... the Premier league is not for him.

I'd be shocked if Nuno doesn't try and get a tune out of him now he knows he has him at least until the January window. Think he would be much better suited to that 3rd midfielder role that Dele is currently playing, but admittedly he would have to cover a lot of ground in our current system so may be difficult for him.

Are we sure about that? I'm really not sure at what point last year we were better with him off the field. We were generally worse when he got subbed off. Our form throughout the year was quite up and down and certainly not all related to Ndombele's play. I think he was out of position as part of a holding 2. He is ok at that, but he is certainly much better further forward. He's not even bad defensively, he's pretty good in the tackle. His awareness and effort on that end is just a bit lacking. Hence to why his best form and our best form was with him as a 10 in front of Sissoko and PEH. I think he could do well as the freest of a midfield 3.

Great vid - the angles and weight of passing is superb. He will look far better in a solid, well structured side… will he eve be disciplined enough t play 90 in a midfield pair? Not sure, but I want to see him start games for us somewhere

Its clear that we do not have the full picture on the Ndombele situation.

Heard a lot of rumblings that he doesn't like England due to the weather and culture - and regretted the move from day 1. Word is that he visited Liverpool and ask the driver to return to the airport on the way to the meeting.

Maybe he has been honest with each coach - he doesn't want to stay; so there is no point in us developing him as a player; only for somebody else to benefit.

Given the transfer fee paid, we cannot terminate his contract; and I am sure behind the scene's we are working on shifting him out as soon as the money starts flowing in european football again
