If everything about his attitude is true (again, tabloids, grain of salt) we need to move him for a creative midfielder to play in the central 3. Either one who can pick a pass or dribble past his man.

Nuno clearly doesn't think lo Celso is robust enough to play in the middle (strange since he does see dele there). So it means we need someone there to rotate with dele.

Dele is not worthy of a start in this team.
He hasn’t been in 3 seasons now at least.
Somehow he gets in.
He actually doesn’t just have the ability to play at Tottenham’s level. And Tottenham’s level is very questionable seeing the coaches and board think otherwise.
Take away his odd goals, he has no talent required for an attacking midfielder.

Consistently more tackles than the likes of winks, locelso, sissoko etc as well. So the effort is obviously there when he plays. I think its the way he looks like he is dragging himself that makes people think he is lazy.

We mostly judge him but his body structure.
I’ve said it before, his athleticism like that of Pogba is easy to be judged as lazy.
But I don’t understand why we would prefer players that run around like headless chickens as against those that know when to reserve their energy and when to run.

He reserves his energy so much he was Extinction Rebellion's man of the year.

For 4-5 year eriksen was our creative spark. But he also regularly topped distance covered, hard sprints etc.
No team in the premier league is carrying a player who wont put work in apart from pogba. Thiago doesnt start for the dippers because he cant get around the pitch.That hasnt really worked either.
De bruyne, havertz, fernandes, madison, all of liverpools front 3, etc all work and put a shift in first and foremost. But yet were meant to play a player who hopefully does something once every 5 games
