He’s generally done exactly what I wanted from him this season - Produce when Sonny’s unavailable.
Unless a really outrageous offer comes in, I say keep him and Son at the 9 for another season and look at it again next year.

Yeah it's one of those things.. in a parallel world Rooney would turn a waster and Ndombele kicked on to be a legend of the game. With so much raw talent they're will always be someone to take a risk on a player . Who would've thought he can fail so spectacularly and end up a wage thief. Don't think the scouting can get that deep in players head and predict future.

I think our recruitment after the CL final was more useless. At the time we were crying out for a defensive midfielder and a centre-back and/or right-back.
The fact we spent all of our money on a player who was not good at the defensive side of midfield, and tried to play him there, is ridiculous.
We literally could have bought the likes of Rodri or any cheap version of Kante.

If Ndombele had lived up to his reputation - based on only 1 very good season at Lyon - and Lo Celso had stayed fairly injury free, then I would have had no issues with those 2 players joining.
I remember Spurs fans laughing about Winston Bogarde, who just sat out his contract and collected his huge wages at Chelski...but now Spurs have a worse case in Ndombele. £200,000 a week for barely moving his ass.
Ndombele at least will go donw in the history as one of the most disliked Spurs players ever among Spurs fans
