This. Spoke to a mate in that world a while ago who said that incentive on the players part has a lot to do with it as well. Higher percentage of African-born footballers see the end goal as the big contract, apparently. So it's not always the entourage, it's motivation, there's evidently a difference between a love of football and seeing it as your only option to a better, extremely wealthy life.
