Admin Admin Please move this thread to Ex-Spurs. Every moment that this waste is associated with Spurs is an insult to our club and to the shirt.
I’d suggest off topic. Hardly a sportsman in that fat c….

Club to Dier: "Thank you".

Club to Tanganga: "Thank you".

Club to Sessegnon: "Thank you".

Club to Perisic: "Thank you".

Club to Tanguy: "Wishing you all the best".

Me thinks he may not have been that popular backstage.

It's pretty sad when I think of it. Such a waste of talent. The sad part is that he doesn't have the brain too utilise that talent. Think Ndombele with Lamelas brain.
I can't imagine what shit mentality he had in training, for all the managers to come in and immediately freeze him out.
Funnily enough, only Jose had the patience to try to work with him, so much so that he broke Covid rules just to make this twat run...

I don't think that it is a matter of brains. He clearly has the know how to use his talents based on when he does show up.

What he lacks is drive and ambition. He's not driven by sporting success.

As someone else said in this thread. He most likely plays only for the money.

You can see how easily it could happen though.......give someone a guaranteed £10m a year on a six year contract......I'm not sure I'd remain 100% motivated

Exactly. It's the thing Harry Kane excels at. The self motivating bit that makes you care. Take Bissouma so he's marmite right now poor season, but go look at quotes from him in the past. "I think I'm the best midfielder in the league " "I want to be the best" I've heard Kane say I want records want to be the best" Never ever heard Ndombele say I'm the, best want to be the best He doesn’t give a flying fuck about football. He is genuinely unfairly what people thought BAE was.

On a related but seperate point. Ditching this bloke early frees up a very high wage within our threshold, makes me think we have a big salary player in the sights. Nico Williams be nice.

That's fair.

And he is probably also providing for friends and family as someone else here mentioned. It's no uncommon for players from less well off backgrounds to send money back home to take care of things. And some are even pressured into it to begin with. Adebayor talked about that in an interview I believe. How he fell out of love with football later in his career because his family back home stopped asking about how he was doing and just about how much he was making.
