Was brought in at Spurs to protect Glenn Hoddle on the pitch if the truth was to be told. A proper hard but fair old school player who will probably be remembered for his contribution to Leeds Utd's 70's team and at Coventry City more so than the two seasons he spent at Spurs.
Graham Roberts emerged to replace Yorath at Spurs but he never let Spurs down and deserves to be remembered for his time here too. Good honest professional who helped transition the newly promoted Spurs into the trophy winning group that followed.
