Hopefully the club are working just as hard to sign his replacement - as he’s not very good

Not v Leicester, so possibly bench v Elfsborg or v Brentford !
He hasn't even played since Tamworth which is nearly 2 weeks ago. Ange probably only mentioned him because he couldn't play in Europe and is back now but just worded it funny by saying he thinks "he should be ok". I don't think there is any issue there. I saw the press conference and the impression I got was he is fine but the quote just makes it look like there could have been an issueApparently Reggie also carrying some form of injury.
What the hell is going on?
Elfsborg and then rest him against Brentford so he's fully ready for Liverpool. That would be the ideal scenario. Doubt we throw him straight into 3 games in 6 days!
I'd imagine the hope and plan is that Romero could do 90 mins against Liverpool so they'll try and work back from that. Maybe 60 mins in one of the games before it would give him that chance. Centre backs and Forwards are very different - centre backs usually always play 90 mins while forwards rarely finish a game. The way Ange managed Richarlison is pretty much 45 mins first game, 60 mins second game .... and Leicester will be his 3rd game when I'm guessing he does 75 mins or full 90 mins.
I'm guessing that 'come back' schedule agreed between physios and Ange following a spotlight on players coming back from injury breaking down again
So I'm actually expecting Romero to get his first 45 mins v Elfsborg or Brentford and build from there, suggesting Romero will more likely play Liverpool for an hour or so but not full 90..
