Maddison - 'Sore' and rested v Leicester, expected back v Elfsborg (30/1)

Romero - Back in training for a week, maybe back v Elfsborg (30/1) for 45 mins

But if we’re “not getting relegated” then why aren’t we playing the U21’s for the rest of the league games. Cos there’s nothing in the league for us.

I’d love to be able to concentrate only on, and win the league cup.

I think the “we’re not getting relegated” just comes across as “we’re already safe”

And we ain’t.
I read the PL pays about 3.1 million per place on top of the +/- 80m.

Looks like Richarlison and Bissouma are ok to play.

Ven de Ven, I think we'd be mad to risk for anything more than a morale boosting appearance on bench. Marginal whether 20 mins or so off the bench would be reckless or not.

Romero not quite ready

Maddison and Sarr not available - hopefully not major.

Vicario coming along nicely, but atm, gk is not a priority - I'd guess Austin starts tonight with Forster onn bench as Kinsky not registered for EL. Strength in depth with 4 GK's and even no 5, Whiteman, made an EL appearance when Joe Hart was here !

Maddison - 'Sore' and rested v Leicester, 2-3 weeks out

Romero - Back in training for a week, Looks possible for either Brentford or Liverpool

Van de Ven - Back in training for a week or 10 days. Minutes v Elfsborg per Ange !

Spence - Not registered for Elfsborg, should be back for Brentford (2/2)

Solanke - Two different suggestions, either (back for Liverpool (6/2) or not until end Feb

Werner - out for 1 - 2 weeks (originally 3-4 weeks but 2 weeks ago)

Ange on injury returns at Press Conference on Friday 31 Jan before Brentford :

They're all around 10 days' time, Vic, Johnson, Destiny, Wilson, Timo, Romero is a tricky one. There's still work to do but all those guys apart from Dom, a week behind, are all slated for the next week to 10 days.

[With Romero] it's just a slow healer, looking at on a week to week basis. He's been out a while, it's just taking time.

Dragusin - waiting for a day or two before proper scans can be take,

So mid February could see another 4 or 5 outfield players come back into contention. No mention of Maddison by Ange - but he's not been out for long, the others have been 'long term' injutred
