More chance of the Elgin Marbles returning to their homeland than Ange, mateHad to check your account, at first it seemed very sarcastic? Joining in August 2023 checks out though.
Have fun at AEK Athens or PAOK Saloniki next season
If we sack him now he can lineup a job as Santa to see him through! When we beat Rangers, Saints, United and Scousers on the spin this thread is gonna be BUZZIN
Ange is gonna Make Christmas Great Again.![]()
You were Fattyloadsofmates til that thread was created
The football was not good under Conte during his 2nd season but we were never as much of an embarrassment as we are right now under Ange. We were still 4th (albeit with Newcastle and Liverpool having 2 games in hand beneath us) when he went and his replacements for the remainder of the season hardly arrested whatever perceived slide we were on. I hated the football as much as the next guy but Conte was right in his outburst and we have been no better off for sacking him in my honest opinion, I find watching us get 75% possession only to pass it around in a big semi-circle in the opposition third only to succumb to a goal on the break or from a corner and lose 1-0 or 2-1 just as fucking tedious as waiting for low block teams to open up and try and play against us so we can counter them. And the inevitability of defeat is the worst thing, the 4-0 against City and his good results vs Utd are outliers for Ange, as well as the 1-0 against Liverpool where the ref did us more favours than I've ever seen in any match for us. It's a shame in my opinion that Conte didn't have more fan sentiment behind him at the time because we might have seen actual progressive change at the boardroom level if the fans and manager had been pulling in the same direction at the same time against the ownership of the club.I think people on here forget that Conte's only good spell at Spurs coincided with Son being the best player in the league for 3 months. He was scoring goals from everywhere!

2025 post-season Singapore Eagle Challenge Cup winners, you'll never sing that.I don’t have the energy to be negative today. Much easier to be positive.
I think people are really overlooking the fact Ange ALWAYS wins things in his second season.
Facts like this just can’t be ignored. He has that winning mentality that Daniel Levy doesn’t have. Like Conte and Mourinho before him. He wins stuff.
Let’s look ahead to our possible trophy parades later in the season (unless Danny boy wants to save on the bus hire and trophy bonus again and sacks him)
United just lost to Forest at home FFS. This is our cup. It’s coming home!!
Yes it's bundled with the DVD of our 4-0 win over City.
