Match The Bodø Affair - Part Two: Bodø/Glimt of Nordland vs The Mighty Tottenham - 2000hrs 8th May 2025 - UEFA Europa League Semi Final Leg 2

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It's strange for me getting ready to watch the game at home tonight . I can count the games I've not been to this season on one hand . I think we can win tonight but we have to be alert to things at the kick off . So many times we've been caught out by a lively start from the opposition . We'll miss Maddison , Son and Bergvall , but to win trophies you have to deal with injuries and beat who is put in front of you . Our whole season has boiled down to winning a trophy to save face - what with us being in the bottom 5 of the division , it has brought a lot of criticism for Ange and for Levy , and a lot of soul searching from the supporters .

I have no doubt that if we bring our A game tonight we have every possibility of going through to the final . 17yrs we've been waiting now for a trophy and I'm sitting here quietly sh!tting myself that if we don't turn up - our season will be over at 10pm tonight . The Bodo Glimt fans set off fireworks outside our teams hotel at 2:37am this morning . Ajax fans tried that in 2019 but that backfired because we went on to beat them , so I'm hoping it has the same outcome . There's the matter of the all weather pitch to contend with , which will be an advantage to Bodo Glimt as they play on it all season . We have had some fortune so far this season on an artificial pitch against Tamworth - hardly a massive result , but we won without conceding . Lazio and Olympiakos have both lost to BG at their home ground this season and Ange lost when he took Celtic there 3yrs ago . Even though there are unforgiving surroundings - I'm going to stick my neck out and say I think there will be plenty of goals and I'm going for a Tottenham win - hopefully with us going through to the final comfortably..........Yid Army

As always

Hope for the best but expect the worst.

Nerves are kicking in heavily. I might just have the game on in the background with the sound off and just glance at the match occasionally.

Desperate to win this fucking thing.
Nah....you will sit there and watch with everything clenched like the rest of us. We're here for life. And as Red said...

Can't remember which poster it was a few weeks ago.

I think when he was rooting for Villa against PSG, on the basis they were an English club in Europe. Just the weirdest concept to me, and extend it, then why not support that lot last night?

Anyway all that aside, I wonder if the poster thinks there will be Villa, Liverpool and Woolwich fans cheering us on tonight?

I mean just what planetary system.

Strangely enough I just had a pub interaction with a couple Pool supporting scousers who want us to win maybe an anti ManU thing but extremely suspicious
