The whole point of the rule change was to make it less tinpot.
Not having CL teams drop down into it reduces the prestige but still, the prize makes it properly valuable.

When Bodo play teams in Nov/Dec/Jan they have the pitch advantage but also the weather
in this instance it being bright till 11:30 and 7/8 degrees is a huge help.
Couple of positive things, I was really impressed with the lack of dicking it around at the back in Frankfurt, we were much more direct and cleared our lines more often, no chances taken, we're our own worst enemy in the league more often than not.
Secondly, losing Maddison ovb a huge blow but in a way Bissouma's performance last week out of nowhere was like having a new player or a player back available after injury, there's a quality player there if he's concentrating and TRYING! hopefully there's penny's dropped and he can make a real impact on thurs (and hopefully in the final)

Bodø is actually not that cold. Typical coast climate with mild winters. The coldest month is February with an average temperature of -1 ℃
Norwegian teams are out of season in December - April. So hardly the best time of year for us.
