That Quarabag game is very odd.

In a nutshell we're doomedI watched the first half and Lazio were terrible. They had the look of a team who thought they only needed to turn up to win. We've all seen that before and I hope we will take them a lot more seriously. Below are some quotes from that game. We also move the ball relatively quickly, so it shouldnt be an issue in that regard.

A tiny ground in the Arctic Circle with a plastic pitch: Is this really a recipe for calamity for Spurs?
It may not be as cold in northern Norway as some might expect, but getting to grips with the playing surface may still be a challengewww.nytimes.com
”They have an advantage on us, and we have an advantage on them. I think it’s evened out. But of course, playing here at home is a big advantage for us because I don’t think a lot of teams are prepared for what’s coming. We have managed to do this in a successful way. The ball goes really fast here, and that’s a key object for us.“
According to Bjortuft, the key difference on artificial turf is how quickly the ball moves along the ground. Lazio head coach Marco Baroni highlighted this in the previous round, describing the “speed in their exchanges because of the artificial pitch” as a key component to Glimt’s dominance in Norway. For a side that likes to play in their opponent’s half and craft opportunities through slick combination passages, the pace of the pitch adds an effective zip to their attacking play.
“The ball goes really fast when you play passes and it’s more difficult for defenders reaching attackers and getting contact with us,” says Bjortuft. “That’s what we benefit from in these games. Of course, it’s a big difference between artificial and grass in many ways but the main key is that the ball goes so fast. It may be harder to turn and everything for players that are not used to it.”
It felt to me like last week they were happy to lose the game but be within touching distance coming back home. Which, thanks to a daft goal, they are.I see a comfortable night ahead. 2-0 to us as we will not go after them and I can see us catching them on the counter. . They had zero quality in the final 3rd last week.
We win Euro semis. It’s who we are![]()
Who else wants a really uneventful, boring game tonight?
Who else is expecting Bodo to score after 2 minutes and it to finish 7-5 to either team on the night?
In off his back to send them through you mean?
I want the ultimate-hyper ideal Italian game:Who else wants a really uneventful, boring game tonight?

it doesI've done skiing and I'm utter crap on both surfaces, so I guess that qualifies me to play for Woolwich.
yeah - Rafa's past his best now
Hope we set fireworks off outside ground straight after we go through. An eye for an eye as they say.
You mean we should keep more than two outfielder players in our half at anytime????It felt to me like last week they were happy to lose the game but be within touching distance coming back home. Which, thanks to a daft goal, they are.
They're gonna race out of the blocks IMO and have the advantage of the pitch. We cannot let them score early, even a first half goal will turn this game into an absolute shit show.
