Match The Bodø Affair - Part Two: Bodø/Glimt of Nordland vs The Mighty Tottenham - 2000hrs 8th May 2025 - UEFA Europa League Semi Final Leg 2

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I was hoping to watch the game with my pal Pierre Smirnoff, in the man cave, but the wife is invested now, so we're watching it together 😍.

Kulu, Solanke and Bissouma really letting us down so far. Don't look up to the required level.

I don't like the way we've approached the game. But still nil nil so no complaints.

A goal for us ends it. They don't have enough quality to trouble us. Would be individual mistakes that can cost us. So I'd be wary of the 3 I mentioned and Brennan on the booking.

I thought we had a good first 20 minutes, stable and discipline. Richy defended from the front really stood up for me. If only Johnson is that diligent to cover those spaces. His tackle was stupid, however, and he has to come off now and let Odobert play.

Kulu is not right. He's always exhausted lol. What a joke. 25 playing like 35. Modric has more energy. His mentality in interview striving to win didn't reflect in his games. Show it if he meant it.

In terms of result it's a great first half. Defended well but need more from midfield 3 in terms of wanting the ball, going to recieve it and making patterns of play. Kulu been awful as the creative midfielder in that half. I'd be inclined to get sarr on if it continues like that in to the second half. But no silly defensive errors and doing the overall job that needs to be done so far. Bodo very good building up but we haven't let them create and really good goalscoring opportunities I feel.

This is a " what have, we hold" game, amazing as it might seem - the manager with no plan B

Is playing a Plan B

Indeed surprised some people can't see, lots of long balls, long goal kicks, time wasting. No high line , no attacking overloads that leave an isolated back 2.
Certainly not ange ball, this a coach fighting for his reputation and doing what ever is necessary to get this trophy

Odobert doesn't defend. So it comes down to whether you would risk opening up and risk conceding to try and score the away goal?

True, though does he defend less than Johnson? And does having him on mean Bodo cover him and potentially have less going forwards?

They’re 45mins from missing out, and will have to throw it all at us, considered risk given he’s likely able to run at them on the break perhaps?
