Yeah always good to try boarding a plane with a fishing rod and a bucket of dead fishA tip, if any of you are going there. Bring a fishing rod and go to Saltströmen when the tide turns. You can't avoid getting loads of fish.

Smart, methodical football. That's not who we are, Mate. It's still going to be cold mate. I've played golf in Lofoten in May which is a bit further north ... 24 hrs of daylight but still only 3 or 4 degrees. I think sunset in Bodo will be about 10.30pm in early May. As I keep telling people they are no mugs. They have broken Rosenborgs complete dominance of Norwegian football with a fraction of the budget and this is not going to be the pushover some think it might be. Must get a decent lead in the first leg and then play smart, methodical football in the second leg.
You can check it in, the rod. Do it for the fun of fishing. Throw the fish back after you catch it.Yeah always good to try boarding a plane with a fishing rod and a bucket of dead fish
I catch my fish in Tesco'sYou can check it in, the rod. Do it for the fun of fishing. Throw the fish back after you catch it.
But do you throw them back?
Can’t believe you’re giving up on the league so quicklyLest we forget: Sunderland finished 6th in Division 2 ; the year they beat the mighty Leeds side of the early 70’s .
They’re still crowing about it , and why shouldn’t they ; Fu!k the week in week out drudgery of the league: why fantasise about finishing 4th when there’s a European trophy to be won ?
I’d love us to do the double of the Prem and the Europa in the same season don’t get me wrong . But why shouldn’t we be expectant of doing something that’s ; a) VERY significant and b) actually ACHIEVEABLE ?
Trust me ; these sort of opportunities don’t happen to us very often .
Enjoy it !!!!
( PS : and to reiterate: Fuc& the League ; we’re not winning it this year. It’s , sadly , just a fact .
Because we're Spurs mate, the 9th richest club in the world, with a f**king huge stadium, any manager would be lucky to have this team with this fanbase! Not sure why anyone would be daft enough to think that any team we meet in a semifinal of a European cup competition would be a pushover?
If we play Bilbao I bet we’ll have more than them in the stadium. We’d pay much more than the Spanish for tickets. Best part of 15000 each but we’d outnumber them. That leaves 23000 and I’d be shocked if we don’t cover at least another 10000 of them.If bilbao make the final by hook or by crook it will be far from 50/50 split in the crowd

Ludicrous that some people are still excusing our performance that day1.This was Tamworth
2. That team is littered with internationals
3.We were toilet
Bilbao are 4th in La Liga, only lost 4 games out of 31. The final is at theirs. They have Nico & Inaki Williams...both a real handful. Oihan Sancet is quality too. Defo the best team out of the 4 still in the tourney.
Are you seriously suggesting that Ange can learn anything from anything..?One positive is that Ange has played against them in the EL with Celtic. So he will know all about their pitch, conditions etc. Bad news is that they smashed Ange's Celtic 5-1 over 2 legs (2-0 at home and 3-1 at Celtic).
That was in the Europa Conference League, Celtic were knocked out of the Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League that year. One positive is that Ange has played against them in the EL with Celtic. So he will know all about their pitch, conditions etc. Bad news is that they smashed Ange's Celtic 5-1 over 2 legs (2-0 at home and 3-1 at Celtic).
I count 8 full international players. Let's not pretend that's a youth team or something, ehI keep hearing comparisons to Tamworth but this was the starting 11 that day
