30 European home wins out of 37 would indicate to me that the pitch plays a significant role.

Sure, but so far this campaign they've only won once by 3 goals (5-2 vs Twente, in February when the average temp is -1C).

It's obviously a factor, but historic stats suggest that we're favourites.

Weather forecast next Thurs suggests a balmy 7c with a decent chance of rain, Norweigan weather fans.

Gotta say that the atmosphere around the bars at half time last night was absolutely incredible - best I've seen in many, many years. Felt like a party... and we were only 2-0 up.

However, and this is a general issue I'm seeing in modern football, it took a lot of energy out of the stadium itself just after half time with people late coming back to their seats (or heading off early) and I do think we struggled to regain that intensity until the penalty went in.

I wish the hospitality team would do a bit more work preparing drinks in advance for half time so that people can get back out quickly.
General hospitality at the stadium is fucking dreadful for a new build where they had a blank sheet of paper and all the cash needed to get it right. It's terrible. The food is poor, but ok-ish. The drinks are fine, but every game the wait is 10-20 mins for anything, and more often than not, they are sold out. It can't be profit maximising for baldy either. No chance

At my home club, AFC Wimbledon, the food, drink and HT experience absolutely murders THFC.

The original Sausage Roll recipe at opening was fucking incredible. I guess it cost too much so now we get a worse version.

A lot of the problem is with the staff. I don't blame them specificially (more the management) as most of them will be zero hours contract bollocks and called upon one day a fortnight, but there is almost no effort made to improve the standard. My mate G who used to run the Uni Bar at Middlesex could serve more people single handed than they can manage as a team.

Someone needs to organise and lead them.

Here's a scary thought that kept me up last night...

For the first time in decades, maybe ever...we are favorites to win a trophy. We'd have to bottle from here in not to win it. We'd have to blow a big advantage or lose the final against an atrocious United.

In 2019 it took miracles against City, Ajax, and we were underdogs in the final. In our Carabao and Fa Cup runs, we've always lost to better teams in the semis or final.

This time, there is no scenario where we don't win this without a massive bottle job. Fuck me.

Comparing a 9000 seater to a 60 thousand seater. Yeah sound mate. Fucking hell

United are odds on favourites

Not decades. We were favourites in the semi against Portsmouth and arguably against United when Pochettino thought playing Son at RB wouldn't be an idiotic idea.
