The match thread analysis thread (part 2?)

We need a match thread statistics analysis.

I'd bet that if all match threads were started with less than a week before the game, we'd be top of the table.

Somebody crunch some numbers.

OK, I can remember a similar (but better) thread about the same topic from last season, but couldn't find :avbshock:

BUT, I looked through the match threads in the league for this season, with author, date and opponent, and here are the results:

Norwich Home – 7 days before by Wizwardcoys = DRAW

Reading Away – 15 days before by Pyro_era = WIN

Man Utd Away – 5 days before by SadlerTHFC = WIN

Villa Home –2 days before by Thelonius = WIN

Chelsea Home – 12 days before by sammyspurs = LOSS

Wigan Home –2 days before by Blanchflower = LOSS

City Away –6 days before by SadlerTHFC = LOSS

Quite shocking really:

4 match threads created 6 days before a match have resulted in 1 draw and 3 defeats.
Match threads created between 2 and 5 days before a match (7 threads in total) have resulted in 6 wins and 1 defeat (against Wigan)

Ramsing has 2 wins of 2.

So, the ideal match thread is, right now, created by Ramsingh 3 days before a match :ade:
