For those of you who can't be arsed to open the link...

Scottish Premiership
Scottish Championship
Scottish League One
Scottish League Two.

You couldn't make it up. Whoever they paid to come up with that needs to be shot.

It's actually worth a read. There's some comedy gold bullshit in there.

"To have clarity on the names of each division and to have a logo that demonstrates the passion, the excitement and the drama of Scottish football, I'm thrilled."

"...when the names changed in England we saw the Championship being elevated in terms of stature within the game."

Ok, so hands up who hasn't worked out that Championship = Division 2. FFS.

Scottish football :harryfacepalm:

We have such a great history and fantastic teams, it's a fucking crime what some arseholes have been allowed to get away with.

They should have gone to two leagues of 20(ish), straight away it stops the bore of playing the same handful of sides four times a season.
IMO, it offers far more stability and a greater number of clubs have breathing room to invest in long term solutions (youth academies, training facilities, stands, marque players) instead of perpetually gambling and fire-fighting, always fearing the drop.

When you factor in the four team play off's for promotion and relegation in a 10 side league, all leagues are in a state of massive flux. No right minded person is going to invest in Scottish football as there is simply no stability for any club!

Shame in a way, the competition from a strong Scottish league, would be healthy for English football.
