This is a great listen IMO, yes it's Wealdstone centric, however it gives a lot of insight into the way a hybrid club is run...

In this special episode of the cast we are honoured to be joined by Neil Gibson and Lee Jones, AKA the Wealdstone FC Management team to discuss the season that's just passed, the future of the club, where we go from here and their philosophies regarding the way they want the club to progress and the way we play the beautiful game.

It's an absolute treat for our listeners to hear the candid, open and honest opinions of both Neil and Lee, and to discover what the future holds for the club. It's very rare to be allowed such an insight into what goes on behind the scenes at a National League club, and the trial, tribulations, and wranglings that have to happen for it all to work, especially at a club with relatively little resources compared to it's peers.

Is this a "must listen"? You shouldn't even need to ask! It's a stellar episode if we say it ourselves. Asking the questions are Adam and Sudhir.
Stonescast is honoured to be sponsored by Rolfe East Estate Agents.

There's a question asked about Gunter (on loan from us)being dropped for Baptiste.
From 1hr 34mins onwards for around 10mins(ish) relevant to the keeper situation.

Gibson and Jones left Wealdstone yesterday, was quite shocked till I read this...

Additionally, the club has taken the difficult but necessary decision to reduce the first team playing budget for the 2025/26 season in order to ensure long-term sustainability. While efforts to secure investment in the club continue, no new funding has yet materialised. The financial reality means we must live within our means and not put the future of Wealdstone FC at risk.

Relegation looms again next season..

Stones fans not happy with the board.

Spot on, it should be three up from the NL...

We've been here before.
