Victory parade without the players! Have to love non league football.

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU AND OUR SINCERE APOLOGIES

Sunday, June 1st

We at Horsham FC are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support our community has shown throughout the season and following our Men’s First Team’s historic double, securing both the Isthmian Premier League title and the Sussex Senior Cup.

The celebration event on 30th May at the Carfax Bandstand was a truly special evening, with 800-1,000 of you coming together to share in this joy. The vibrant atmosphere, brought to life by fantastic live music from Zak Williams and the tireless efforts of our volunteers, was a testament to the heart of our club. We’re deeply thankful to Horsham District Council, Gavin Hewins from Visit Horsham, and every volunteer who made this community moment possible, while also supporting local businesses with a busy Friday night.

We sincerely apologise, however, for the disappointment caused by the absence of our Men’s First Team players at the event, especially for our younger fans who were so excited to meet their heroes. We understand how much this meant to you, and we deeply regret that this part of the evening did not meet your expectations. The lack of players present has identified some communication lessons on our part, combined with half-term holidays, work commitments, and unexpected personal circumstances, as our players balance their lives as non-full-time professionals. Our players and management truly value the support you show them every week.

Your passion fuels Horsham FC, and we’re committed to making this right. To make it up to our fans, especially our youngest supporters, we will hold an open First Team training session in July as pre-season begins. This will be a chance for families to watch training, meet the players, take photos, and create lasting memories with the team. We’ll share full details nearer the time via our website and social media.

We’re so grateful for the growing number of supporters who fill our stands – you are the foundation of our success. Thank you for standing by us, and we can’t wait to continue the journey with you all next season.

With heartfelt thanks,

Kevin Borrett, Chairman Horsham FC

Dagenham & Redbridge FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Lee Bradbury as the club’s First-Team Manager.

Bradbury, 49, arrives at Victoria Road with a wealth of managerial experience and a strong track record across English Football. The former AFC Bournemouth, Eastleigh, and Havant & Waterlooville boss takes the reins ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 National League campaign, with preparations already underway for pre-season.

They'd have been better off appointing Julia Bradbury.

Former Spurs academy player and coach appointed at first team manager of Wealdstone. I'm hugely underwhelmed by this.

Hashtag United are in that league? WTF.

Was going through some old photos the other day and came across a charity game against them. Think they were just a YouTube team at the time. Time flies.
Just checked - they haven’t been in existence for 10 years yet. Incredible rise. Have to say I’m not a huge fan of the gimmick FC clubs but they’ve done well.
Globalization of football. Most non-league clubs have the support of a very small, very immediate community. Clubs like Hashtag and some others are built on the idea that they're not limited to that immediate local community.

Is Azpilicueta still one of the owners? Scum.
I detest Hashtag Utd.
They ground shared with Haringey briefly, paid a lot of rent ,but thought it gave them the right to run things.Wanted to change the name of the ground and everything.
Their fans were everything i hate about modern football as well.

That's good money. I wonder how much profit is in that £48,000?
I think it's all profit 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is from one of the board on the forum, when somebody queried the £48k...

There is a central pot for all clubs made up of unallocated prize money as the PL2 clubs don’t get any prize money for a win. The pot is then shared out to the NL clubs. Our breakdown is

£10,000 for entering
£16,000 for 2 wins
£22,000 from the central pot

Total: £48,000
