None of these are levels of play anywhere near the PL, but Postecoglu has also won four titles in Australia, one in Japan, and an Asian Cup (winning the final in extra time after Sonny had leveled it with the last kick of the ball in regulation) with the Aussie national team.

If you don't like that resume, I'd better not hear you advocating for Marcelo Gallardo, let me say that much.
The Aussie league.... You've got to be kidding, it's not very good, that's being polite! And winning the league with the biggest team in Japan... Seriously give him a chance to prove himself in a competitive league then make a choice. Your gambling on the guy being a Wenger, and frankly he'd be gambling massively with his own carer.

It's amazing people will trash Brenda, who achieved two trebles with Celtic but will heap praise on a guy they no nothing about, other than hearing delusional Celtic fans talking bullshit.

The simple fact is old firms managers should only ever be judged by performances in Europe!

If this Aussie bloke was appointed by one of our supposed 'rivals' all those wanking over him on here now would be all over it like a rash and laughing at them.
Ha ha. :roflmao: :roflmao: Typical "kiss" from NotThatTedHughes NotThatTedHughes , who probably still thinks everything is going to plan, we should be grateful for a top half finish, and whoever we appoint was Daniel Levy's first choice all along.

What a plum :harrylol:

Nah, mate. I actually want Nagelsmann but I still recognize that you’re a douche who will do anything to knock the team.
Why don’t you kiss me back? Oh, ‘cos I don’t give a fuck. Fill your tiny boots.

Personally, I don't have a big issue with the names I've seen linked, including Potter (who I like) and Brendan Rodgers. Not particularly thrilling prospects in theory, but I remember not being remotely excited by Poch or Jol joining and thrilled by Conte.

Without wishing to state the obvious, it's more important that:

*The club structure is more robust than recent times
*The club have a clear vision of what they want to achieve (entertaining football, competing to win etc)
*The new manager really wants to manage us
*We tell them precisely what we want from them
*They tell us how that's going to be achieved
*Everybody works with and backs them as necessary to help drive them to success

It may not be enough to topple doped plastic clubs like city, but we could get the swagger back and have a bit of fun together.

All we can do as fans is keep the pressure on Levy and the board to get this right otherwise it doesn't matter who we get in. Will they? I massively doubt it based on their history, but we can but hope.

One thing I do know is that I'd rather us assemble a squad who really want to play for whoever comes in. Any hint of histrionics or egos and they're out the door however 'big' they are. The board have to back the manager here and the players have to buy in. Do that, and we stand more chance of success. Ignore the fractures and we'll be back here in 10 months grumbling about the same stuff.

Roger’s is a dope, I’ve posted about this before. Why are Leicester ( barring a last day mir) going down?
Because in Roger’s judgment those two keepers ward and iversen with a combined 90 premier league minutes between them were adequate replacements for kasper schmeichel.
Any half decent stopper would have got them 4 to 6 extra points minimum. Look at navas at forest who only came in at January.
Imagine Roger’s assessments of dier and Sanchez…. Probably make dier captain because he shows “character “.
Nope no way rogers. No way

Partick Thistle manager Kris Doolan
Just beaten Ayr 8-0 on aggregate, definitely a name to consider.

Kris Doolan: "I think it's a statement of the way we want to play, of how good we can be and what's coming.

"That's how we've approached every game, we've not sat back. We've come into the play-offs strong and we'll get strong as the games go on.

"When you score goals, you feel great. When you're winning games, your legs don't feel as tired.

"Winning breeds winning. We've set up a winning environment. Even in training, our boys compete like that."
Nah we respect him but he's not for us

We're actually interested in the Ayr manager on the recieving end of the 8 nil spanking

Fits what the club are looking for , rumour is we are currently monitoring his situation

I'd say in September last year he'd be the favourite by a mile. And I still think he's a good manager. But the Chelsea stench is hard to ignore.

I'd probably pick him from that 4.
Boring, possession football. Doesn’t try and score goals. No thanks.

Good manager but not what we need now. Crowd won’t stand for it, will unravel quicker than it did at Chelsea

I can see why Flange Postegoclu is in the running for the job. Afterall he was able to overcome the might of Partick Thistle and Dundee United without resorting to playing 11 men behind the ball.

Quite the achievement.

Fiorentina manager, Vincenzo Italiano is on Tottenham Hotspur’s managerial list as per many BS media sources.
