It's not a case of turning our nose up. We can't compete seriously playing our 1st team in 4 competitions; League, League Cup, FA Cup and Europe. Personally, if we don't qualify for the Champions League, I'd rather we missed out on Europe completely next season. Fuck playing endless weekly Thursday and Sunday games. With a new manager for next season it will give him more time on the training ground, plus with less games, should give us a better chance of finishing higher in the PL, hopefully the top 4. Plus, we should be able to give the League Cup and FA Cup a serious go.

That's exactly what you're doing, even when we're in the CL, people were still saying we can't handle the FA cup and the league cup. If we can't handle anything more than playing in the prem, we don't deserve to be competing with other top clubs in Europe. Top clubs want to win trophies.

Define top club. Based on our league placings over the last 10 years we are definitely in the top 7 clubs in the Uk.
In terms of revenue we are currently in the top 10 in the world.
We are one of less than 20 clubs to compete in the champions league final this century.
If it’s purely based on trophies won in the last 20 years then we are up there with Portsmouth and Wigan and behind Leicester.
What’s the point of trying to get into Europe if we can’t handle more than one gane a week. This is the conte fucking syndrome! Sooner we snap out of that the better. Every ficking team in history has competed on 4 fronts. Christ even we have in the 80s.

There’s lots of very talented players on the pitch, but even talented players tend to have bad games, especially when it’s a high intensity match..
Odegaard has suffered the same thing numerous times this season and struggled to have an impact. Today he’s just on it.

Watching the games these last two weeks have told me how much we have fucked up this season and not getting to 4. It was there for the taking.
Lots of fans have been saying they are fearful for next season and think we will drop down the league. I’m not so sure. I think we will be well in the mix for it with an attack minded coach who wants to play to his squad’s strengths rather than shoe horning them into a formation that doesn’t work for them at all.

How many points were we ahead of the dippers a few weeks back. Now they are plus 5! Shocking collapse! With toon losing today and manure behind some of the dropped points would have had is in the mix.. 4 v Everton and soton. 3 at home to bournmouth. Dippers we could have had at least a draw which would t have given them. 3 points over us. That is 8 points there for starters. Thing is, if we'd stayed in the race up to now, you'd bet your life that both Newcastle and Man U would have gotten results today. But as we're out of it, and those scouse cunts, the luckiest team in the history of football, are now chasing it down, you could bet your house on those other two fucking up and letting dippers in.
