Don't know where to put this but obviously fucking brilliant to be top dogs in London again after such a long time.

Slightly mental though as I just checked the last time... 1995. Hardly much to shout about being 7th...

Even more mental though. London's second team that year? - QPR (8th)... And third? Wimbledon (9th).

Pre Money Chelsea and Pre Wenger Woolwich in 11th and 12th

I’ve got corporate at the Tesco value stadium tonight through work (blatant). As much as it will stick in my throat having to support the pikey twats it’s our only chance of 2nd.
Doing something to counteract the guilt but not upset work too much is where I’m struggling to find the right balance. A dirty big shit in the bog without flushing just doesn’t seem to cut it.

So only 13 out of 40 predicted us finishing top 4. 6 out of 40 said top 3, 2 said top 2, 1 said winner (good old Waddle!)

Ah, I'd wish I'd read this before I checked myself

They should have asked Lawro

He has 5th and 6th right as well, pretty accurate for him! (And could still be spot on if we have an off last day)

I notice still not predicted a Liverpool loss for the past 10 years though!

What was Waddle smoking at the time because I want some!!

For "experts", read "dickheads".
Up to Christmas the most insightful comments from the radio/TV jocks/jockettes was "Wembley curse" followed by '"how do we hang onto Dele and Kane"
Most of them belong on Talksport where they can bore the listener.

Much as it pains me to say it (bearing in mind that the contempt I hold Chelsea in is unequivocal), but I really hope they pip Liverpool to the final Champions League place. Missing out on the top 4 and then losing to Real in the CL final would be beautiful, watching the entitled fuckers spontaneously combust in both rage and despair as the realisation hits home that thursday night Euro-lite football is all they have to look forward to.

He may be an annoying M-head, but at times he speaks sense.

How big an achievement is it for Spurs to finish in the top four?

It’s a huge achievement — especially given they have had to play their home games at Wembley. The ground is too big to be a home. There may be an amazing atmosphere when the likes of Manchester United visit but when Wembley is half empty it makes for a difficult occasion. Despite this, they have been without doubt the best team in London — finishing above Chelsea and Woolwich. While I don’t think they could have caught Manchester City, had Tottenham been playing at White Hart Lane this season I am convinced they would have run Pep Guardiola’s side closer. After 18 home games last year, Spurs had 10 more points than they do now. Add those points to their total now and they would have 84 — enough to finish comfortably second.

I've felt that if we'd had one more season at WHL (financially unfeasible I know), we'd have finished 2nd ahead of MUFC. 2nd only to an oil country's national team.
